This white from Maçanita is a delightful little surprise. The dominant Encruzado grape delivers bright, white fruit and a hint of wild thyme, very much reflective of the region’s floodplains terroir. The result is a vibrant wine with a refreshing acidity – perfect alongside a classic Bacalhau à Brás. That silver medal from Revista de Canais certainly isn’t a fluke!
