This Ayres White, straight from the Dão, certainly kicks things off with a bold entrance. The blend of Encruzado and Arinto – a classic combination known as "Dona Branca" – delivers a vibrant pale yellow hue, brimming with citrus notes reminiscent of pine and a subtle hint of wet stone, perfectly reflecting the region’s unique terroir. Still young, it benefits from a little breathing room to fully express its character, but would pair wonderfully with grilled fish or a wild mushroom dish.
