Old wine bottles may show dust and damaged labels, which is normal for their age. The National Cellar stores all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, yet always preserves the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that, by nature, exhibit distinct characteristics in tastings of aged wines. However, we inform that wine is a living organism that ages, and even in a bottle, its aromas evolve over time. Thus, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an old wine. We recommend opening the bottle and letting the wine breathe beforehand, which will help release its natural aromas after so many years closed. If you choose to decant before serving, do so patiently to detect the emergence of sediment that an aged wine tends to develop. (Illustrative image)
