It displays a citron‑yellow hue and a clean, delicate aroma, revealing vegetal notes of eucalyptus, citrus such as lemon, and a pronounced mineral character that reflects the rocky soils. On the palate, it is structured and balanced, with excellent acidity culminating in a long, persistent finish, making it a pleasant and refreshing experience. Vinhos Bagagem is a project by Luís Moreira, a native enologist from Monção, whose aim is to highlight his native land and the Alvarinho grape. The name “Bagagem” pays tribute to the emigration of the 1950s to 1970s and the smuggling that developed along the Minho River. Vinification began with the manual harvest of his oldest plot, planted in 2001, reflecting the dedication and care that characterize this project.
