Barbeito Rocim & Barbeito A Meias is considered the first Madeira wine aged in Alentejo amphorae. Its conception is made possible by the fascinating collaboration between Vinhos Barbeito (masters of island freshness) and Herdade do Rocim (leaders of innovation in the Lower Alentejo). Thanks to this union, this tranquil white with an overwhelming personality, dominated by Verdelho and with a touch of Sercial, was created. After 12 months of maturation in the aforementioned clay amphorae, it unfolds an elegant aromatic spectrum of peach, white flowers, and subtle oxidative notes that blend with terracotta memories. A collector’s jewel capable of linking two distinct Portuguese regions.
