This “Jardin d’Amour” by Baron von Sieger is delightfully perplexing – you genuinely wonder if you’ve stumbled into Provence. It’s a beautiful dance of Grenache and Syrah, carried along by a sun-drenched warmth, with a subtle herbal note hinting at a very specific plot of land. Word on the street is it snagged a prize at Beaune – a good sign, certainly! – and would pair wonderfully with a simple tomato and basil salad, or perhaps a perfectly grilled steak, just like you’d find on a charming menu in the French Riviera.
