According to its age, wines may show signs of time, such as dust on the bottles or some label damage—common in wines stored for decades. The National Bottle Store stores all bottles at the correct temperature and humidity, yet it always preserves the visual appearance that reflects their age. We generally choose brands and regions that perform well in vintage wine competitions. However, wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even within a bottle its aromas evolve in different ways. Therefore, the National Bottle Store cannot be held liable for the quality of an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let it aerate first, which will help release the wine’s natural aromas after so many years closed.
