The National Wine Cellar is committed to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance that comes with their age. We usually select brands and regions that perform well in old wine tastings. However, wine is a living organism, like any other, that is exposed to time, and even inside a bottle, its aromas can evolve in different ways. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let it breathe beforehand, as this helps release the wine’s natural aromas after so many years closed.
