The National Wine Merchant is obliged to store all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, yet it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance that comes with age. We typically select brands and regions that perform well in aged‑wine tastings. Wine, like any living organism, is subject to time, and even inside a bottle its aromas evolve. We recommend opening the bottle and letting it breathe first, as this helps release the natural aromas after many years of closure.
