Batista’s rosé is crafted from Touriga Nacional and Tinta Barroca grapes, revealing an elegant, fresh, and expressive profile that highlights the aromatic character of these varieties. It displays a bright pink hue. The aroma features delicate floral notes, with hints of strawberry and wild berries. On the palate it offers an elegant texture, medium structure, and balanced acidity, delivering a harmonious and very pleasant experience. The finish is fresh, lingering, and delicate, reflecting the rosé’s elegance and liveliness. Pitada Verde is a family‑run project founded in 2009 in the heart of Ribatejo, dedicated to producing quality wines in the Tejo Region. With about 30 hectares of vineyards spread across the Tejo’s three sub‑regions (Bairro, Charneca, and Campo), it seeks to take advantage of the diverse terroirs to create authentic and balanced wines. All grapes are grown under Integrated Production, reflecting a commitment to sustainable viticultural practices. In the cellar, the use of gravity during vinification reduces mechanical intervention, preserving fruit integrity and the expression of the grape varieties. Under the guidance of winemaker João Pedro Batista, each variety is vinified individually, resulting in wines that express the identity and richness of the Tejo Region. (Illustrative image only)
