Older wine bottles may show traces of dust and damaged labels, as expected with their age. The National Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance that reflects their age. We select brands/regions that, by nature, reveal distinct characteristics in old wine tastings. However, we inform you that wine is a living organism that, even while sealed in a bottle, has aromas that evolve over time. Therefore, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate beforehand, as this will help release its natural aromas after so many years closed. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, do so patiently so you can detect the sediment that, as a rule, an old wine tends to produce. (Illustrative image)
