Beyra The soul of this wine lies in the unique combination of Syrah and Fonte Cal grapes from old vines planted on granite and chalky soils with quartz veins, in the Douro River basin at an average altitude of 700 metres. Beyra is produced organically in vineyards planted exclusively with native varieties perfectly adapted to the rugged climate induced by altitude. The grapes are hand‑picked, destemmed completely and crushed immediately. Fermentation occurs between 16 °C and 17 °C for about 20 days using indigenous yeasts. The wine then ages on fine lees with bâtonnage in vats until bottling in January. Serve as an aperitif or alongside grilled fish, salads with fresh cheese. Allergen information Contains sulfites.
