Beyra grapes come from vineyards planted on the high plateau of Beira Interior, at an average altitude of 700 m, mostly on slate soils. Depending on the vintage, we hand‑pick the best vines, whose native varieties are perfectly suited to the rugged climate created by the altitude. Vinification: grapes are hand‑picked, fully destemmed and crushed immediately. Fermentation takes place between 22–26 °C over 7 days with gentle maceration. The wine then spends six months in used French oak barrels. pH 3.88. Total acidity 4.63 g dm⁻³. Total sugars 3.6 g dm⁻³.
