It was developed over a century ago by James Buchanan and became one of the most important representatives of Scotch Whisky in the 19th century. The creator, James Buchanan, apparently conceived the brand on his way home from a dog show. He crafted a blend that is smoother and lighter than other Scotches on the market, yet retains the same consistency and flavor. Only the finest malts and grains were selected to achieve an exact balance in a unique blend of 35 different malts and grains, which together make it a light and smooth whisky.
