Blandy’s Sercial 2011 is a dry, fresh Madeira wine, offering an intense bouquet of crystallised citrus fruits, aged aguardente and a subtle hint of saffron. On the palate it shines with lemony sensations, delivering a vibrant, refreshing experience. It is aged through the traditional ‘canteiro’ system in 650‑litre vats, preserving its authenticity during a natural maturation process on the island of Madeira. The finish lingers, with notes of brandy and orange marmalade, giving it a uniquely complex character.
