Boca de Veludo from the 2011 vintage is made from grapes harvested at a high degree of ripeness, giving it a colour reminiscent of a pomegranate with violet hues. The nose is intense and complex, featuring aromas of black and red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, cocoa, chocolate, notes of tobacco, eucalyptus, and aniseed bay, all well blended with the wood notes from its ageing. On the palate it is full-bodied, with velvety tannins and fruity flavours, finishing long with smoky and spicy nuances.
