The Naia Náiades 2019 is a truly impressive young wine, solidifying Naia’s reputation as a leading producer in the D.O. Rueda. Crafted from grapes grown on ancient, sandy vineyards – over 120 years old – in La Seca, the wine boasts aromas of ripe melon and pear, elegantly balanced by the vanilla nuances from eight months of aging in new 500-litre French oak barrels. It delivers a wonderfully long and persistent finish. A remarkably well-balanced wine, perfect with Peruvian dishes or a hearty cod stew.
