The Bojador is a personal project of the producer Pedro Ribeiro (Herdade do Rocim) that realizes his long‑standing dream of turning the bond he has with Alentejo into wine. The venture began in 2010 in Vidigueira, which, for him, is «a unique place with a millennial tradition of dedication to vines and wine». At Bojador, a selection of the oldest vine blocks that best express the terroir where these wines are born is made, and for Pedro Ribeiro they are «mineral, fresh, elegant, emotive and authentic wines». The red grapes planted are Touriga Nacional, Aragonez, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet, Tinta Grossa and Moreto; the whites are Antão Vaz, Arinto, Alvarinho, Perrum, Roupeiro, Rabo de Ovelha and Manteúdo.
