This Borba Rótulo de Cortiça Reserva, born from the very heart of the Alentejo, is a delightful reminder that tradition can certainly still pack a punch. The dominant Trincadeira grape delivers a rich, red fruit intensity, beautifully spiced with hints of the region’s characteristic warmth. It’s a wine with good substance and a lingering finish – a genuine reflection of that Alentejo terroir, and, as we’ve found, it earned a well-deserved gold medal at the Vila Nova de Gaia International Wine Competition. Absolutely brilliant alongside a generous portion of arroz de pato.
