Borges Quinta da Soalheira is a wine with a harmonious blend of six typical Douro grapes, giving it a deep ruby colour. It presents a warm aroma with notes of plum, dried fig and vanilla from barrel ageing, revealing an elegant and full‑bodied palate, fine tannins and a long, persistent finish characterised by a rich, complete flavour. This wine represents the richness and tradition of the Douro region. Founded in 1884 by brothers António and Francisco, Sociedade dos Vinhos Borges quickly became one of the country’s leading wine companies. Recognising that only through excellence can Portuguese wines assert themselves worldwide, Borges has always focused on the quality of its production, now exported to more than fifty countries across five continents.
