O Borges Reserva Douro is a white wine made from the Gouveio and Viosinho grape varieties. Its straw‑yellow, crystal‑clear color gives way to an expressive and intense nose, dominated by tropical fruit, floral nuances, hints of gooseberry and lemon, all wrapped in silky aromas that create a distinct and classic bouquet. On the palate it is elegant and fresh, with excellent structure and body, balanced by a unique acidity. It finishes long and is marked by a smoky character from barrel ageing. Founded in 1884 by brothers António and Francisco, the Sociedade dos Vinhos Borges quickly became one of the country’s leading wine companies.
