18 pts Revista de Vinhos – Dark, intense ruby colour. The aroma is exuberant, young, fresh and highly complex, initially dominated by resinous, almost vegetal notes, with hints of eucalyptus, spruce and mint. Black plum, blackberry and currant aromas also stand out, interspersed with prominent floral nuances characteristic of Touriga Nacional. The wine is full‑bodied and of excellent volume, revealing well‑defined, firm, soft and enveloping tannins that come together into a smooth mouthfeel. It displays a great balance between sweetness and acidity, with the flavour perfectly conveying the aromatic and fresh sensations, highlighted by blackberry and mint notes that persist into a long finish.
