This Bote from the Douro certainly seems to have had a rather contemplative youth. Avoiding any fussiness, the Gouveio, Códega, and Malvasia Fina grapes underwent a prolonged, glacial 48-hour decanting, allowing them ample time to consider their complexities. The fermentation, carefully maintained at a modest 14°C, reflects a measured and thoughtful approach. Expect a refreshingly vibrant wine, ideally paired with freshly grilled seafood.
