This Bridão Reserva Doc Tejo is a delightfully surprising sweet wine – a little bit daring, wouldn’t you say? The ‘marasmo’ – that lovely, hazy stillness – really shines through the Moscatel and Viosinho grapes, revealing ripe white fruit and a definite honeyed note, sourced directly from the surrounding hives. Notably, the stony Tejo terroir gives it a vibrant acidity that earned it a star from the Guia Repsol. Seriously good with aged cheeses, or perhaps a simple slice of bread drizzled with honey.
