This Cabriz Meio Seco from the Dão presents a remarkably perceptive effervescence, lasting delightfully long. It’s beautifully balanced by a touch of acidity, very much in the style of Bical grapes, and carries a delicate citrus note reminiscent of Malvasia Fina – a subtle hint of grandma’s patisserie, if you will. Quite a respectable 87 points from Robert Parker, and utterly delightful with a selection of fresh cheeses.
