Founded in 1859 by António Alves Cálem, Porto Cálem has remained in the same family for four generations, always paying close attention to producing quality Port wines, earning worldwide recognition. With its famous “Velhotes” Port range launched in 1934, it gained national prominence, becoming the top-selling brand in Portugal with over 3 million bottles sold each year.
