Bottles of older wines may show dust and damaged labels, which is expected given their age. The National Wine Cellar stores all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands and regions that, by convention, reveal distinct characteristics in aged wine tastings. However, wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even while sealed in a bottle, its aromas evolve. Therefore, the National Wine Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an old wine. We recommend opening the bottle and letting the wine aerate first, which will help release its natural aromas after many years closed.
