The bottles of vintage wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, as is expected given their age. The National Cellar is committed to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it also chooses to preserve the visual appearance that comes with age. We curate a selection of brands and regions that, by default, reveal distinct characteristics when tested in vintage wine tastings. However, we want to remind you that wine is a living organism that ages over time, and even while sealed in a bottle, its aromas evolve in different ways. Therefore, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, since it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and allow the wine to aerate beforehand; this helps liberate its natural aromas after many years of being sealed. If you decide to decant the wine before serving, do so patiently so you can detect any sediment that an old wine tends to produce. (Illustrative image only)
