This Capensis is a true time capsule, born from the oldest vines of Stellenbosch – those that’ve silently witnessed everything from the earliest wines produced for the East India Company to the present day. It’s a masterclass in balance, expertly blending the weight of history with the boldness of a new generation of winemakers. The blend of Nooitgedacht, Zeter, Fijnbosch and Sonop delivers a remarkably complex terroir, earning a well-deserved 96 points from Decanter and 94 from WineAnorak. Quite simply, it proves that sometimes, the secret to great wine lies in listening to its roots. Wonderful with fresh seafood or grilled chicken.
