It is a generous wine marked by limestone characteristics and south‑facing slopes, mild temperatures and northerly winds that reduce the maritime humidity near Lisbon, allowing the production of this high‑quality liqueur wine. With a topaz colour, velvety and delicate, it offers an almond aroma and develops a distinctive perfume with ageing. Very dense in flavour, balanced and long‑lived.
