Born from the heart of the Ribatejo, this Casa Cadaval red wine is a truly evocative expression of the region. It’s a masterclass in blending – Touriga Nacional providing its characteristic backbone, beautifully complemented by the rustic Trincadeira and the delicate touch of Alfrocheiro. The wine captures the essence of the local terroir, boasting bright notes of red fruit balanced by a refreshing touch of Arinto and a lovely acidity from Fernão Pires. Notably, it took home a prize at the Guarda WINE Awards 2021, and would be utterly divine with a hearty dish of game or, frankly, a perfectly grilled plate of sardines.
