We usually select brands/regions that typically perform well in old wine competitions, and in this case Ferreirinha wines are generally highly praised. However, wine is a living organism that, like others, is exposed to time, and even within a bottle the aromas are subject to different evolutions. Thus, the National Wine Cellar cannot be held responsible for the quality of the wine, given that it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open and let the bottle air out beforehand, as this will help release the wine’s natural aromas after so many years sealed.
