We are looking at a producer that has been reborn from the ashes. It has come to stay and to write a new story, but the history of this house is an old one, dating back to the 19th century, when it was built. Great wines were born from this house and from these vineyards. Who does not remember the P63, at the time vinified by José Maria da Fonseca? Fate would have it that the estate was "abandoned" by the wine world, with only a faint memory of the great wines that were made there. Fate also decreed that the new owner would be a person of good taste, with extraordinary dedication to making wine and making it well. Thus the new Casa da Passarella was born, to write a new chapter in the history of this house and in the Dão region.
