We are looking at a producer who has risen from the ashes. He came to stay and write a new chapter, but the house’s history dates back to the 19th century when it was founded. Great wines were born here and from these vineyards. Who can forget the P63, which at the time was vinified by José Maria da Fonseca? The world of wine had left it “abandoned,” leaving only a faint memory of the great wines that were born there. Fortunately, the new owner is a person of good taste, extremely dedicated to doing things well. Thus the new Casa da Passarella was born, to write a new chapter in the house’s history and in the Dão region. The wines are excellent, made with rigor and a strong desire to do the best.
