Casa das Gaeiras DOC Óbidos The Casa das Gaeiras, located in Óbidos, stands out for the tradition and typicity of its older wines. From the garden to the house, many emblematic 18th‑century features are present. This label highlights one of them: the heraldic symbols on the walls of the noble hall. It is considered a small château in the Óbidos region, producing niche wines in limited quantities that reflect the tradition and typicity of the local white wines. The excellent terroir allows our winemaker to produce high‑quality wines, recognised nationally and internationally for their remarkable freshness and mineral character. **Vinification** – open fermentation with temperature control at 15 °C. **Winemakers** – António Ventura and Ana Penha. **Analytical details** – Total acidity: 5.5 ± 1, pH: 3.3 ± 0.5. **Pairing** – pairs well with dry, strong cheeses and soft‑paste cheeses. It is an excellent complement to baked fish, cod dishes and white meats. **Awards** – GUIDE OF POPULAR WINE – 3 HEARTS (2014). Allergy information: contains sulfites.
