The slow fermentation, held at a gentle 18°C, was almost lovingly managed, undoubtedly resulting in those wonderfully defined smoky aromas – a testament to its recognition at Grandes Escolhas. The result is a remarkably delicate wine, with a lovely peach note that's beautifully balanced by vibrant acidity. A true demonstration of the elegance Riesling can achieve, even within the Tejo region, and perfect with a grilled white fish, wouldn't you agree?
