Casa de Mouraz Originating from old vines, with mixed varieties vinified simultaneously. A large batch wine in the purest Dão tradition, featuring about 15 different varieties. Full body, strong structure, and just‑right acidity, in the perfect balance characteristic of the region. Vineyard: several plots on granite soil, vines aged between 40–50 years. Harvest: manual, mid‑September. Vinification: after crushing whole grapes, the must was decanted for 24 hours. Fermentation took place in stainless‑steel tanks for about 12 weeks at controlled temperature. The wine matured for 8 months on fine lees, with regular stirring (“battonage sur lies”).
