At Casa de Mouraz, all vineyards are grown organically, with no herbicides or synthetic agrochemicals, and the estate has been ECOCERT‑certified since 1996. The soil is fertilized using plant seedlings and organic composts. Vine treatments employ natural products such as copper, sulfur, seaweed, clay, and plant infusions. The biodynamic approach at Casa de Mouraz is guided by respect for the soil, the plants, humans, and life in its diversity and ecological integrity. A less manipulated soil produces a more authentic wine, faithfully reflecting the terroir and vineyard where it was grown. Since the end of 2006, Casa de Mouraz has also adopted biodynamic practices, seeking to deepen the harmony among soil, plants, animals, and people. (illustrative image only)
