Casa de Saima Garrafeira is crafted from the Baga grape grown on clay‑limestone soils and aged in bonded oak barrels. It is a complex and elegant red wine, with great balance, intense tannins, notes of red fruit, and an authentic, very long finish. Located in the heart of the demarcated Bairrada region, Casa de Saima is one of the area’s leading producers, having been involved in quality wine production for more than half a century. The inspiration behind this project stems from a quest for authentic wines made as naturally as possible, with minimal and careful intervention, so that over time and with patience it will reveal the best that nature offers.
