The bottles of old wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, as expected given their age. The National Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that, by nature, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of old wines. However, we note that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even within a bottle, aromas evolve in different ways. Thus, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product's quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe first, which will help release its natural aromas after so many years closed. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, make sure you do so patiently to detect the appearance of sediment, which an old wine tends to develop.
