Winemaking: Selected grape varieties from the high‑altitude zones of the Upper Douro sub‑region, specifically our estates. In these high‑altitude areas, grapes with the desired ripeness and acidity for this type of wine are chosen. After destemming, the grapes are gently pressed and the must clarified by static decantation. This is followed by a long alcoholic fermentation in stainless‑steel tanks at controlled temperature. Maturation occurs in stainless‑steel tanks for about six months, during which the batches undergo numerous tests and analyses to refine their quality. The final batch is produced after careful selection and then clarified and stabilised before bottling. Suggestions: Ideal as an aperitif or to accompany fish dishes and salads. Papa Figos Branco is ready to be enjoyed. It benefits, however, from a period of bottle ageing, remaining at its best for a fairly long time. Store the bottle horizontally, protected from light and heat. Serve at 9°C–11°C. Consume in moderation.
