This wine from Casa Relvas was produced exclusively with Aragonez grapes sourced from the Vinha da Mina vineyard, planted on granite soils. It displays an intense ruby hue, with a complex bouquet of red fruits, flowers, and subtle spice notes. The wine is full‑bodied, with excellent structure and balance, and a complex, elegant finish. It’s ideal with Mediterranean cuisine, pasta, lamb, and soft cheeses. Casa Relvas is a family venture founded in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas, with the aim of continuing a five‑generation legacy rooted in a passion for the Alentejo and its authentic nature. Over the years the family grew alongside the business, and today the estate spans roughly 750 hectares of montado forest, 225 hectares of olive grove, and 350 hectares of vineyard, all managed under 100 % integrated production. With its three estates—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas can produce about 6 million bottles of wine annually, 70 % of which serve the international market. The brand is present in more than 30 countries worldwide, offering the best of the Alentejo. (Illustrative image only)
