Casal Da Coelheira Amphora , 500ml Tinto

Description

In this wine, Casal da Colheira aimed to revive a millennial winemaking practice using clay amphorae. They selected the Alicante Bouschet grape, whose must fermented together with skins, seeds, and stems, followed by an extended maceration (curtimenta) of four months. Despite the prolonged maceration, the fermentation and ageing in clay amphorae delivered soft tannins, preserving the variety’s identity and the wine’s character. Serve between 16 °C and 18 °C.
