Description

In this wine, Casal da Colheira sought to revive a millennial winemaking practice using clay amphorae. They selected the traditional Fernão Pires variety, whose must fermented together with skins, pulp, and seeds, followed by an extended maceration of three months. The result is a wine whose profile contrasts with that of modern, technological whites. This aged wine shows an intense colour, great aromatic complexity, and a strong structure, making it a highly versatile gastronomic wine. All signs point to a long longevity. It should be served between 12 and 14 °C.
