The blend of Fernão Pires and Chardonnay expresses a beautiful harmony on a clay-gravel terroir, delivering a wine with a lively acidity. The 18-month ageing in used French oak barrels certainly adds depth. Jancis Robinson’s 17/20 award confirms this is a vineyard that knows what it’s doing – and doing it remarkably well! Wonderful with grilled fish or shellfish.
