This “great white wine” from Casal Figueira in Lisboa certainly has a touch of overreach – the terroir doesn't exactly scream for a wine of this ambition. Made primarily with Arinto, the Lisboa’s character isn’t exactly known for its extravagance. Let’s hope the result is a fresh, vibrant wine with a mineral note that, well, justifies the initial hype. It would pair beautifully with grilled white fish, I suspect.
