This CastelGiocondo, born in the very heart of Montalcino, is a passionate tribute to its remarkable terroir – a blend of galestro, clay, and Cretaceous sands that truly bewitches the palate. Highly praised by critics like Wine Enthusiast (96/100) and James Suckling (97/100), it’s a testament to the exceptional quality of the Sangiovese grapes, painstakingly hand-picked. Following a careful fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine spent five years ageing in oak barrels, culminating in a Brunello of incredible elegance and power, recently rewarded with a Silver Medal from Decanter – perfect with a hearty red meat dish, of course.
