Rui Roboredo Madeira’s Durienses wines are produced in the cellar located in São João da Pesqueira, where everything began in 1999. The first wine released was under the Castello D'Alba label, which is still sold today. In one of the most remote corners of the Iberian Peninsula, in the riano area between the Upper Douro and Beira Alta, Rui Roboredo Madeira’s passion for the aromas and scents of the land that shape his character was born within the family. After years of experience and living in other parts of the world, Rui brings back to his roots what he has learned, launching a personal wine‑making project that always respects nature to the fullest.
