This Castelo de Numão from the Douro is like a secret unearthed – a wonderfully full-bodied wine that immediately wraps you in warmth. Born from ancient vines, it bursts with ripe fruit and spice notes, a testament to the long-standing traditions of the Touriga Nacional and occasionally, a touch of Rabigão. It’s clearly a wine that’s benefited from careful aging, and would be absolutely superb with a hearty roast or, perhaps, a classic Bacalhau à Brás. A truly charming wine – and one that's certainly not new to the scene!
