Castello Monaci Maru is a monovarietal Negroamaro wine from Salento. Its brief six‑month barrel ageing does not hide the fruit‑rich aroma of this typical Puglia grape, featuring a high concentration of dark fruits such as blackcurrant, blackberry and cherry, along with Mediterranean herbs. The palate is powerful, ending with a slightly bitter note—hence its name.
